If Simba will remain as aggressive to topple ST largest telco title, the merger is actually not that bad.

But according to May Bank, Starhub share has changed to buy from hold, the reason being price stabilisation after Simba take over M1. So the present M1 aggressive move may be stopped once it is taken over by Simba.

Conclusion: better reject the merger.

Starhub confirmed did an offer but Keppel deemed the offer not attractive, then along the way Simba's offer was more attractv and hence, got the deal. May be Starhub had made a wrong decision thinkg it may be the only interested party and so it lowball its offer. Regrettably the whole situation had changed and is now unfavourable to Starhub's situation. Guess that is how a business world plays out.
