Heads up for those awaiting 12-month FOC talktime+data, CIS promo is back on! Mine is valid till 31 Jul though! :s12:

sorry someone might asked before.

Circleslife can receive sms at oversea?

of course can. and it is free.

circles life has full roaming services supported.
can make/receive calls while roaming.
can send/receive sms while roaming.
can enable data roaming while roaming

you can even select roaming for voice and sms only (disable data roaming totally) under the circles life app setting like singtel so that you will never kena a single data roaming charge even u forgot to turn off data roaming on ur mobile phone.

Got my first bill. First month was charged at $28 instead of $18 ($28+18 total). FAQ says it's normal and expected...

This is so misleading. I expect to pay $18 for 12 months and not $28 at any time during that period. Anyone had luck in getting the CSO to adjust the bill?

My SIM card was activated on the 16th and number transfer done on 24th. Also just got my first bill and both Jul and Aug I was charged $18.

Of course Jul was pro rated.....

I was told the $10 discount will only come after the number transfer was done successfully.

no. discount should be reflected on 1st bill already. of course 1st bill will be pro-rated though.

Yes i have mentioned about it in one of my posts, sadly, 1st month always $28 (i think they need to wait till you confirm on the portover). The webchat CSO mentioned this to me prior to sign up. Following month then your first $18 come in. :)

wah, this promo is back 100GB with unlimited talktime. Circles national day promo with 300GB. No wonder m1 network slowed down, so many power hungry users on circles m1

yup, it is an 'ongoing' promo like i said. :D

yup, 300GB is insane for mobile phone usage. 300GB/30 = 10GB per day.
even one uses it to watch youtube 1080p videos also need to watch 10 hours to finish it.

unless one uses it for home broadband replacement. haha.

I saw the CIS 100GB promo at $18/mth. Too bad, I just switched over to MyRepublic Lite plan.

Does anyone know is circles have caller number non-display? It would be great if it's like TPG, can toggle caller number display on and off as per you like.

pretty much will come back again the promo, you can still sign it up when it surfaces again.

seriously, only MVNOs on m1 network have attractive offers. thus it should add load to m1 network. see what kind of offer from grid mobile. =:p

did not check if there is this add-on for caller id non display add on available.

but confirm there is no such option that can just toggle caller id on and off as per own wish. I was on circles life so i can confirm this.

normally caller id and caller id non display are offered as separate VAS.

I see, so probably only TPG offers this flexibility to mask your number depend on individual needs and it's free too. Activate private number when calling someone you don't want them to know your number.

Anyway, the circleslife 300GB is it really full 300GB per month? Or it's like only for first month.

300GB Rollover: Your additional perks will be sent via email on 10 August! Happy National Day!

my godness, just check, it is a gimmick. haha.

it says 300GB rollover, so it is only the usual unlimited data (100GB per month). :D

yeah. nice play of language.

i give 100GB/mth, and u dun use it for 3 months, so you have 300GB in total = i give you 300GB. :D WTF.

worst part is this so called "promotion" is the usual promo that they are giving = $10 discount if u port over, so $18 instead of $28 for the 20GB normal plan. and with this "promo", you are forced to take up the $20 unlimited data add-on = $38 in total.

while same thing CIS can get it for $18. haha.

that is why i don't like about Circles. Moreover, their incoming and outgoing calls is bundled together. Only for CIS you get unlimited for both. It's not suitable for business users.

If want no gimmicky, MyRepublic perhaps is the one don't really play this. They did upfront say free extra 30GB is for first 12 months. e.g 20GB+30GB instead of 50GB.

Yup. In terms of gimmick, Grxx is totally a joke.
Yeah, I dun really like Circles life too becos of its low amount of talktime and sms. Somemore not incoming free by default. Only the CIS $18 unlimited for everything is worthwhile to sign up.

MR is quite ok, no gimmicks. All are stated clearly upfront.

The most transparent plan I would say is StarHub SIM only. caller id or other essential thing is free included in the price by default. Only thing is no free sms but can still get 100 from giro.

if one has CIS benefits, i think either Singtel or M1 will be good. M1 has 30GB at $20/mth with caller ID.

Yes actually all the 3 telcos sim only are attractive enough. Especially Exiting Singtel User for the recontract deal. $20 for 30GB.
