For your is $28 because you used the code for 300gb. Maybe you should Kay Kay terminate to get the email for $20 off monthly for 6 months which your bills will become $8

M1 has this issue of the line getting stuck in 4G while it's actually in 3G and there's no data. Need to force it into airplane mode to get connected again. Does CL, which rides on M1, have this issue?

Yes. Apparently it's an inherent issue with Band 3.

No wonder always no data even when full 4G bars when I was previously on M1. Jumped over to Grid and no regrets.

iPhone 8 Plus got LTE band 3 support right? if handset can support band 3, no issue? or still face this data connection issue? how about set to 3G always, will face similiar data problem?

My friend shared his CIS code with me, it is $25/mth forever with 50GB, free incoming/outgoing calls, 25 sms, CallerID, registration fee waiver.

However, when i went to sign up, it shows a different plan, almost like basic plan but with the perks indicated as message but price not reflected as message.

How to get it reflected as $25 with the perks indicated?

I tot it is correct ? It was mention free additional 30gb. Free outgoing call n incoming call plus $1 bill credit. So every month they bill you $26 but they also give you $1 rebate to become $25.

Just that they make it a bit messy.

Grid should be OK since using SingTel network. SingTel is using two bands, band 3-18ooMHz & band 8-900MHz. But M1/StarHub only use band 3.

?

SingTel, StarHub, M1 all have LTE Band 3, 7 and 8. It's just that StarHub and M1 Band 8 support is significantly weaker due to the lack of spectrum, while SingTel paid much more for additional spectrum.

StarHub also deploy LTE on Band 1 as well. Not sure for SingTel now.

There's also additional frequency allocations for SingTel and StarHub on Band 38, but rollout is questionable at best.

OK. Wld the lack of VoLTE be a dealbreaker for normal calls?

Simultaneous Voice and Data can be much less possible (very slow or doesn't work), Voice Call quality may drop significantly, much slower connection for voice call to be sent or received as well.

Ah I see. So it's just that they didn't pay as much as Singtel/don't have d capacity.

So you mean among all, M1 is the less bands? only support 3, 7 and 8? no band 38?
