how good and reliable is 4G data with circles life?
I'm on myrepublic at the moment but getting so many issues.
thinking of leaving MR

I used to be at M1 and things were better, but plan was overpriced (2x more than MR for essentially the same)
I guess you get what you pay for? but there has to be a middle ground somewhere

I've had enough of the issues at MR so I am switching to CL today. Especially now that MR (and M1) are dropping voicemail service, there's not a lot of advantages over CL.
I'll pay $6 more per month but at least I'll have a more reliable data connection.

Both are on m1 network, I doubt you will see significant difference. Want to jump ship, at least jump to different network

Actually I beg to differ.

I'm using CL and MR right now. I tested M1 Postpaid and Maxx as well.
Yes both are on M1, but the usability is very different.
The prioritization levels seems to be different, and resulted in CL requiring much lesser "airplane modes" compared to MR.

Yes the data speed isn't that fast compared to other networks (esp LTE), inside train rides also have places with dead spots, but most importantly, it works, something that I can't say of for MR/Maxx.

Plus, CL 5G is a thing now, if he's willing to pay $7 extra for 5G VAS, the network experience might be even better than before.

Wanted to jump on CL 5G but I confirmed with their CS over chat that they don’t have esim option, which shouldn’t have been a surprised since M1 also doesn’t have 5G esim option.

I wonder why no esim for 5G? Maybe 5G esim they can charge more for the physical sim? lol.

Underground MRT don't have 5G service generally.

Only SingTel have 5G inside NEL tunnel.

Not just you. I suspect their 5G SA is not that stable. I was doing speed test at my home when there is full 5G signal bar when it suddenly just lost all connection. Full bar reception cut off to 0

No esim due to security issue. But I believe in the near future when 5G is commonly use, they will roll our esim

Really meh? How come the US can roll out 5G esim but Singapore cannot?

With 4G/LTE eSIM being so common nowadays the Red & Green Telco also refused to roll out, we should not be expecting too much for 5G eSIM from them

I'm currently on CL 50GB@$20 but I find their network somewhat lacking. I tried their autoroam in M'sia and I couldn't even get a connection.

Would switching to Singtel GOMO be a better option?

CL is tapping on M1 infra thus it is natural to feel lacking since M1 has a lot of blindspot.

Mine still 50GB, never jump to 100GB.
My friend with the same code jumped from 50GB to 100GB.

I think it’s for lucky customer cos of the Black Friday. I got it too before I port out to gomo
