The most suitable plan is the existing plan, not the forced-upgrade plan, but they pretend to be dumb and deaf and blind.

If they at least matched the previous deal which was 50GB/$5 that will still be fine.
This one like kena shortchanged even if want to continue for spare.

Circles life doesn't entertain requests via Live chat or Email

Got msg from Circle Life that they will convert my $0 to $5 for 20GB.
Last sentence: If you're not ready for this upgrade..... Anyone tried emailing them to stay on the $0. You manage to remain on $0 ?

my friend, you're on a no-contract SIM-only plan, so of course there's no contract anywhere stating that $0/- plan is perpetual.

every week or two, i get an appeal from circles.life to return. I ignored them all -- looking at the posts since I left, perhaps i dodged a bullet.

they should have offered an opt-in for the users, instead of a forced "upgrade"

Yes, they are slowly crumbling I believe, internal struggles and all.
But their non-SG seems to be doing fine.

if they are crumbling, then all the more reason to avoid subscribing and being locked in.
for non-5G, there are other MNO-backed subsidiaries, which present less risk to consumers (even ignoring the prices). personally, if i just need extra data and can do with a "disposable number" in another SIM slot, then it's fine -- if they go belly up, then all i've lost is the balance of the month's pre-payment. But i won't port in...... Anyway, am just a spectator now.

thats funny when u are not even log into contract

go check their disclaimer : thing can be change from Jan 2024

not sure why u assumed they cannot raise price as and when they like - u are free to move on from contract too

Apologies. I really didn't know. Cause when I first sign-up, they said $0/- forever... or something like that. So I assume forever is forever. Sorry I misunderstood.

If 20gb/mth is more than sufficient, and $5 is what it takes to maintain, why port out to find a $7,8,9,10 dollar deal that maybe give you 50/100gb per mth that u will never be able to consume all?

Or is it a "bway some they change for $0 to $5" mentality?
