Is the CL 6.30/month with 1TB and free 5g add on the cheapest 5G plan available on the market? just ported into CL specifically for this promo but wonder why not many folks are discussing it here. Is there a catch?
There’s always a catch with CL lol…suka suka increase fees at any point of time like the platform fees…

Sure, it may be a good deal and a very good deal if you use it as a 2nd line but trust in CL has died since ages ago.

You better check back on CL thread time to time as they will make alot of changes like what others said.

And personally i hate the way they spam their customers in the past and also spamm their ex customers, like what the heck, they still sending SMS promotion asking to come back.

Is there a minimum period before I can terminate my Circles Life line?

Two months but the first month does not need to be a full month.

The first month "Base Plan Subscription" fee is pro-rated but "Add-ons/Other Fees" are not pro-rated.

References:

1. CL FAQ
https://www.circles.life/sg/help-ce...ing-and-payments/how-do-i-read-my-first-bill/

2. My first CL bill
https://circlesasiasupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003837793-What-does-No-contract-mean

Circle Life straight away charged you two months of subscription fee upon sign up.
You are free to go after the minimum period, no penalty.

I just opened up the Nov 2025 bill and indeed they already charged two months. But the first month "Base Plan Subscription" is pro-rated but "Add-ons/Other Fees" are not pro-rated.

29 Nov 2025 - 30 Nov 2025 (Charges are pro-rated to the date of SIM delivery): $1.93
01 Dec 2025 - 31 Dec 2025: $29.00
Discount *From Promocode/Referral/Waiver: -$76.20
BILL AMOUNT: -$24.97

There is an example in the bill.

3. Billing cycle info for different telcos
30 Days billing :
Simba, Eight, Maxx, Gomo, Heya/Singtel hi! monthly plans (except hi! 5G+ Plan 28 days, note the lack of word monthly)

Calendar month billing cycle (prorate for first month) :
All MNO except Simba
Singtel MVNO except Gomo & Heya/Singtel hi!
Redone, Cuniq & CL

Giga & Myrepublic does Day of month billing cycle, so the day will remain the same.

BTW it's thanks to xiaofan's thread that I managed to get this promo, so thank you!

Thanks all for replies. Network seems so far so good (day 1), will update if any issues. BTW assume CL 5G using the M1 SA network?

Got it thanks

No roaming - I can understand its an issue for frequent travellers
For increase in platform fees, even if 6.70 it's still decent price I would have thought on the market for 5G
No roaming also means your can’t receive sms otp oversea too. Bad for those who frequent jb often

I still have some doubts about port-out from CL.

From the example, if you carry out the port-out CL on 10 Jan 2026 to eight mobile 5G using eSIM option, and then eight sends you the eSIM with a temp number on the same date, so you have to use the eight mobilt temp number until 31-Jan-2026. Right?

Not a big issue but kind of annoying.

Not so sure if any other ISPs have similar thingy.

Reference: CL FAQ about port-out, which is pretty good and worth reading.
https://circlesasiasupport.zendesk....785689-How-to-port-out-my-Circles-Life-number

Example:
If your port-out is completed on January 22, 2021, your account will be terminated on January 31, 2021, and your line will no longer be active from the following month.

No la. Port out is not at the end of the month. Under normal situation, porting out will be ard 2 to 3 working days max. Just that under account management, CL will close your account at their side at the end of month

That makes sense. Account closing is at the end of the month.

But the helpdesk article is really confusing: no issues with the first part but the seoncd part is confusing.

The other helpdesk article helps. Port-out is not the same as line termination.

https://circlesasiasupport.zendesk....e-is-still-active-and-I-m-still-being-charged

Line termination (excluding port-outs/number transfers to other telcos) will be scheduled at the end of the month.

For example, if you request a line termination on 15 Dec 2024, your line will remain active until 31 Dec 2024. You will be charged for the entire month of December. The line will be terminated on 1 Jan 2025, and no charges will be applied for January.

However, any payg incurred in December 2024 will still appear on your January 2025 bill and must be paid.

The following helpdesk article mentions that the minimum subscription period is two month. From my own experience, it does not need to be two full months, the first month can be a partial month.

On the other hand, just wondering if any one here port out from CL before the end of two months? Or the porting will just fail.

https://circlesasiasupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003837793-What-does-No-contract-mean

Unlike traditional telcos, we don't lock you in to two-year mobile plans. The minimum period you have to stay with us is only two months since our first bill immediately charge you for the first and second month, which gives you the freedom to try Circles.Life out. You should be able to schedule for termination as long as you pay your first bill with us.

If our services aren't meeting your mobile needs, you can cancel your plan after the minimum period.

I cannot find any clauses of penality fee as long as you pay the first two months fee and no outstanding charges.
https://www.circles.life/sg/assets/pdfs/SG T&Cs.pdf

9.5 If You no longer wish to receive Circles’ Services, You may initiate a termination request. For You to be
eligible to initiate a termination request, You must (unless Circles otherwise agrees):
9.5.1 have been a customer for at least two (2) Billing Cycles;
9.5.2 not be bound by a contractual minimum term under Your Agreement with Circles; and
9.5.3 not have any outstanding Charges with Circles at the time of the termination request.

9.6. Subject to the requirements in Clause 9.5 above, You may raise a termination request through Support
Services at any time (via ‘live chat’ or other available method). Termination requests received before midday (12pm) Singapore Standard Time on the last day of a calendar month shall be processed during that calendar month, with an effective date of termination of the end of the same calendar month. For requests made after midday (12pm) Singapore Standard Time on the last day of a calendar month, the termination process will be initiated in the following calendar month, with an effective date of termination of the end of the following calendar month. The minimum term of Services is two (2) Billing Cycles. Any request of the Customer for termination of Services during the first two Billing Cycles shall be effective at the end of the second (2nd) Billing Cycle. In the event You or Circles terminates the Services or ‘ports out’ before the end of a calendar month, You will be obligated to pay the applicable Charges for the remainder of the calendar month in which the Services were terminated. Circles reserves the right to not proceed with the termination of the Agreement if You have any outstanding payments at the date of the request for termination. In such an event, a new termination request must be submitted by You once all outstanding payments are paid in full. In the event of a request for termination is made by You after registering for the Services and before the delivery of the SIM card (applicable to mobile services), any applicable registration fees associated with the Services (typically paid at the time of ordering a SIM card on the Circles Website or the Circles App) shall not be refunded to You. You may choose to cancel a termination request anytime before midday (12pm) Singapore Standard Time on the last day of the calendar month in which the request was made.
