My mobile line is under M1 corporate plan and I've been paying $52 monthly for 300 mins calls, 4Gb data, 500 SMS.

Recently I upsized my data to 7Gb with $5.90 monthly because my data burst.

Is circles life reliable? I'm more of data person. I'm staying on M1 because they give 20% discount on corporate plan.

You're comparing a handset contract plan to a SIM-only plan. You should be comparing directly, M1 mySIM vs Circles.Life plan. (Note: CIS for mySIM only have free months of CallerID (idk how long), no corporate discount)

Also, Circles.Life is a MVNO, using M1's network. So theoretically everywhere you're under the sunshine, you should be covered by Circles. However, if there's network congestion (kind of unlikely unless you're inside a crowded area like train tunnel), M1's Postpaid customers could get the higher priority (unless Circles and M1 agreed that both get the same priority).

It's true. Been using circles for 2 months now and satisfied with their network. There are some teething issues to port over and stuff - maybe due to circles getting popular but after getting through them u should be fine.

I do have friends asking me if the network is stable.. just want to verify that their network is using m1's infrastructure and u do get quality 4G network.

Anytime can change ur plan if u not happy. No contract min stay and obligations. No harm trying right?

Comes with unlimited data for wadsapp, free caller id which costs extra for the other 3 major telcos!

On top of that, currently u can get 500mb extras loyalty bonus if ur stay with their network for 6 months. The price u pay is nett of GST as well.

If you are interested, use my referral code 'Mod's Edit - No referral code' in order to get $20 off your signup!

It's cheaper, better and most imptly their customer service is out of this world! ******************

CL don't have Corporate Individual, and M1 there's option to add Upsized Data Super. Since yours is Reg plan, it would be up to 13GB data, at $17.70 on top of the base subscription.

And oh, CL people started complaining about the slower data speeds, likely because they leased limited bandwidth from M1 and that caused the cap because of the influx of customers.

(I'm on M1 4G and there's no slowdown for me, that's why it is likely that throttling happened.)

lol discipline sia. help people save money also will kena infracted.
I've seen a few times the mods just remove the code, and post the warning in the thread. I encourage you to remove the code before they actually do it.

The thing with Circle Life is it is either the basic plan or Plus 20GB plan.

If you are able to max out the 20+GB per month data, go ahead. Otherwise staying with M1 is more advisable. Network wise, no comment for Circle Life because I am not a user.

Here's the analogy on referral codes:

One person gives a code,
another person uses it.

One person gets extra data
while the other gets a certain amount of credit.

Seems fair right? - well, not really.
Humans are selfish creatures. They will then post their referrals everywhere - masking it in code / creative ways so that their codes will be used more and so that they can get more data.

If I allow one forumer to do so, many others will say "hey, it's allowed, I want more data" and will follow suit.

Soon, this forum will be full of referrals masked as posts for instance:

Wow the Galaxy S8 is out.
Anyway use my circle.life code ______ to get $x off registration

There will not be proper discussions on tech.

Not just with Circle.life referrals. If someone posts a using a goo.gl / bit.ly link with a diverter - I will remove it as well as this encourages negative forum behavior and hinders the surfing experience of forumers in our forum.

There have been many forums who have suffered this fate - in the end it's technically a forum full of garbage - unmanageable and lacking in any proper discussion.

Hope this explains the matter.
No warnings / infractions will be given this time round.

same same . i'm using my Sim+20 with 1 year contract . 1 year seem pretty alright to me as i have no plans to change telco .

my monthly bill is $31.25 after gst and callerid
i get 150 min local outgoing calls
800 local sms
6gb data
free incoming .

Same here. I made a comparison b4. Circle doesn't give free incoming call. In the end I opt to stay with m1. $30 with 6GB of data. Plus some perks since I am using m1 card to pay.

try lor. if everyone don't dare to try and just stick to the big 3 then there won't be any healthy competition. Circles.Life seems to offer good plans especially for data. If you are currently not bind by any contract then there is no harm in giving Circles.Life a shot. Give them 6 months then go back to wherever you came from if you are unhappy with CL.

It's not only $20 for the 20 GB. For new user, it's $48 for the basic plan + vas.

Usually Singtel, M1 and Starhub would pro-rate your VAS (Caller ID and etc) on your 1st month.

When you sign up Circle, VAS are not pro-rated. So don't go add VAS on your first month when you applying the service during month end.

I was slap with $20 (20GB add on) for a 2 days usage on March. Got my Sim card 29 March and Billing end 31 March.

- First I didnt know their billing is Start 1st day of the month > End last day of the month.

So I happy accept the warning and sign up data in March.

yes, this is one impt thing to note when switching. i also ported towards end of Mar. adding at the beginning of Apr would have been the right option.

once registered, cso can't do anything...wonder why they can pro-rate the base plan and the the plus. just received 1st bill.

The reason why they won't prorate is because they're giving you the full 20GB bundle, not like ~0.667GB/day.

It's the same for the other Big Three.
DataX2 / DataX3 on SingTel, Upsized Data / Plus / Super on M1, and Plus 3 on StarHub.
All will charge full rate because they will give you the additional data fully even if it's your last billing day and you chose to subscribe on that day.

Main bundle though, all the talktime / text / data bundles are prorated on day-to-day basis. That's why the charges is pro-rated as well.
