It's not an investment savings account, it is a normal savings account with extra interest. Note that it only applies to the first 50K.

It's worth taking a look at CIMB at mentioned in the post above based on your criteria, unless you are planning to get other Citi products which boosts your interest rate.

i did see the ocbc 360
i dont meet their requirement
as my company dont giro
and i dont use any of ocbc CC card

for the citibank one i am able to chalk in 20 to 30k and a monthy bank in 250 or 300$

cimb one looks low on it 0.8%

Well, Citi will be much lower. Are you investing, buying insurance, or have a mortgage with them? Credit card spend is easy to hit, so you get an extra 0.1%.

If not, CIMB is pretty good at 0.8%. It's not low at all.

Citi is quite crappy unless you planning to buy insurance plans/invest with them/take mortgage loan from them.

CIMB's is the better no frills choice.

i do spend using Citi CC card at least 100 to 300$ per month on CC bill
and i could put in 200 to 300 $ per mth with them

cimb duno if safe or not ahah is a malaysian bank
vs a US or SG bank lor

ya i check cimb is higher 0.8%

even ocbc Bonus+ Savings Account is lower than cimb
odd why uob didnt have any offer yet

You're insured up to $50K.
