Citrep Claims

Hi All,

I just completed my self study exam for CCNP. Did my booking of exam through pearsonvue online.

Tried calling IDA to do my Citrep claims and they said because my booking & payment is to pearsonvue, i am not allow to claim.

Any one have any idea if this is true ?

True. I see 5 training companies eligible for CITREP and Pearsonvue(Test Center) is not one of them.

"Eligibility Criteria for CITREP Funding Support

Course providers and testing centres are required to submit the courses and certifications for endorsement under CITREP Expanded. Upon approval, trainees attending the endorsed training courses and certifications are eligible to seek funding support under the CITREP Expanded."

Thought that i could claim because i see exam fee is included in citrep. Any idea which test center only conduct exam only and allow us to book online.

You need to narrow down which CITREP endorsed training providers for that particular cert and call them.

Sadly I also encounter the same problem when I tried to claim my ITIL foundation Exam from IDA where I book via PearsonVue. Even I took the exam via authorized exam center (NTUC) for Citrep and PearsonVue, however I still cannot claim.

I did a call up with NTUC to check. According to NTUC, you need to go down personally to their center and book exam. When booking the exam, you need to let them know that you like to claim Citrep on the exam. They will submit the application to IDA under your account which you can do the self claim via IDA Citrep web using your Singpass.

You should be able to see the company name (NTUC) under your claim profile and you can submit application thereafter.

And usually there is also an admin charge. Think it's around $50.

Normally before I sign up the course I will ask if its claimable first or not before paying...

If you are ntuc member, you can claim 50% UTAP when you buy exam vouchers on their course and exam website online.

Can UTAP and CITREP be used together?

i tot u must take full course then can claim? And exam not claimable. only the course fees..
