Clarification for Infraction

I got issued 3 points for this "allahu akbar" in the following thread:

May i know the reason why? Its like saying hallelujah in a thread.

The accused in the thread is a malay and dont tell me malay not necessarily is a muslim because the name is Muhammad Mustaqim Juri.

So tell me where am i wrong here? Or u guys so uptight of this phrase and have to anyhow issues point if someone use the Report function?

They've gone unpunished for so long, they actually think it's their RIGHT to infringe the forum rules.

And when the mods try to enforce the rules? The culprits come back with "why so strict", or "I use loophole never DIRECTLY insult race/religion cannot arh!"

You can never contain the problem totally lah.

Mods also on volunteer basis, and can't dedicate their time fully sometimes.

I just got infracted wrongly, I wrote back and admin reversed the points.

We human beans all make mistakes, haters won't give up, don't take all these too seriously, enjoy your holidays.

To be fair, I don't know if TS is genuinely ignorant or just acting blur.

I am not a Muslim nor do I profess to know a lot about Islam. But "allahu akbar" is certainly NOT the same as "hallelujah".

Hallelujah is something which most, if not all, Christians exclaim. "Allahu akbar" is NOT something Muslims exclaim in general. When you walked past a mosque in Singapore, when was the last time you heard someone shout that?

Just like other religions, you also have sects in Islam. And it is one particular sect in Islam which has extreme views and practices that defer with most other practitioners of Islam. I forgot the name of the sect but they are the one who believe in killing innocents and that if you die you go to paradise and get to **** 72 virgins. These are the same jokers who go around shouting "Allahu akbar" before the blow themselves up or before they murder people. They DO NOT represent Muslims in general.

Allahu akbar means god is great.

Not necessary solely terrorist. It's a belief that if a person last word is this, they get to be acknowledge and go heaven.
But it is a popular choice of words for terrorist..

Abit gray.. but the translation of the word is indeed harmless.
