GCE A-level students and parents who are collecting 2025 results later on 27 Feb, better start thinking hard about future uni course study. Big turning point right now.

Computing used to be a branch of EE and Information Theory is a branch of Math.
Quantum computing is a branch of Physics.

Prediction for Uni course: Computer Science will return to Applied Math, i.e. a more theoretical alignment with other sciences.

The anomaly of high-paid CS grads in US will disappear and return to the global norm where CS grads are generally paid on par with engineer grads.

I went to read this Reddit thread. Apparently the thread starter didn’t provide any evidence? Other developers are calling BS on his claims.

The text-based game is playable.

And it can be very useful for other purposes such as extracting narrative fragments.

actually its a hard truth because SWE are used to helping people solve problems rather than having their own problems to solve. whereby non tech people always need to solve some kind of practical problems so their hackathon ideas will have more impact
