clean laptop internals service

my thinkpad laptop about 4 years old but recently, it has been freezing up and i have to force power off and restart

suspect is due to heat and dust buildup

cpu and gpu is always 90 degree even when not running anything after 15 mins of use

i watched some utube on how to clean but honestly prefer to hire someone to clean it if cheap and working

anyone know where to find such service or how much it cost?

also been looking at laptop cooler that's $15 on shopee/laz, do they actually work

need to repaste thermal paste and cleaning, but suggest you take out your ssd before sending it for cleaning

I repaste thermal paste and it seems to have worked. Freeze become less frequent.

However, there was one occasion after about 2 hours of use where I saw signs that it was about to freeze. Opened task manager and saw the cpu/gpu was at 55 degrees. After that it frozed

Now suspecting something wrong with ram/ssd or something wrong with the AMD driver or Lenovo firmware updates. Any idea what else can cause problems?

if its ssd, then really jialat

Crystal Disk Info say health of SSD is at 95% but also read up that SSD can fail very quickly

Feel like creating a clone of my SSD on my partition on my external HDD to save data

55 degree Celsius is okay . If it freezes too often , then maybe check for malware also. Also how much ram you have on your laptop. If running too many programs at the background , maybe debloat your windows if you haven't.

I have 16 GB RAM. When it frozed, I had nothing much running; RAM usage probably around 5GB at idle.

Ran Lenovo Diagnostic via boot menu and also windows RAM test. All passed.

I think it might be the SSD and currently researching on how to clone and buy the correct SSD.

Also thinking if I should just get a new Thinkpad
