Cleaning laptop cooling fans?

as per subject
do you guys clean the cooling fans or cooling pad for ur laptop?
i do know some like cannot clean or very hard to clean as u cannot open up thing

wonder if there is cooling pad that can be easily dismantle and clean the fans

If you an open up the the base of the laptop, you should usually find the fan(s) that you can use a vacuum to clean it up. I generally will not recommend taking the fans out to clean because if you are unsure what you are doing, you may end up damaging the cables and void your warranty. For me, I may dismantle the cooling solution to apply new thermal compound and clean the heatsink and fan when my laptop is out of warranty. Unless of course, it starts overheating before warranty ends and going to service center is too troublesome.

I do, use a toothbrush us vacuum cleaner.
