clothes colour matching

So far I only have neutrals for my tops and bottoms (black, white, grey...And some dark/light blue, purple).

Felt like buying lighter colour bottoms as I haven't tried them before, colours like:

But I am not too sure if the neutral tops are suitable ? The colour difference seems wide. Or should I take reference to the colour wheel...

white tops like what the models are wearing would be fine.... black tops should be okay as well.

White and black tops would go with the pants. Dark blue or dark purple tops would go well with the pants too.
