Cm storm devastator keyboard led light won't work

hi guys, just bought a second hand fm storm devastator keyboard. Keyboard led lights should be working according to the seller. To activate it just press the scroll lock button but despite me pressing many times the keyboard led lights just won't light up. Anyone know how to fix? Using windows 7
