I would like to ask that if 6A exams are we allowed to bring in calculators and also what models if they allow.

What would be the percentage of the questions that they will ask for calculation as there are a numbers of formulas to remember.

Lastly, is there any tips on doing 6A papers?

Hi

I happen to have the best set of mock papers for CMFAS M6A. It is 95% similar to the actual paper. I personally went to take the paper after doing this set of mock paper and got 80-100% percentile. 2 days is all you need to prepare for this paper.

And to answer your question. Calculators are allowed. Less than 10% of the questions would require calculation. Do my mock paper and you will be surprised on the test day itself.

6A can bring any calculator, including your scientific calculator.
Calculation questions are limited to a few, so not to worry.

Modules like 6A, 8A and 9A is generally much easier than the main module.

Formula is provided, therefore do not need to memorize. However you need to know what the formula is. Personally, I prefer to remember the formula at my own method, because at times the default formula symbols and stuff maybe too complicated for me to memorize all.

For supplement papers, depending on individual. Personally, I don't think there is a need to if you understand and spend sometime to read through the book.
