Everyone wants to buy low. Base on 10years average. Now is considered the high side. But I guess with this kind of quota. Price will stay.

actually people whose car are up for deregistration should be able to afford new cars now anyway. Especially whose who have kids who are working adults now and are able to contribute to the family income :s13:

Contrary to popular belief the COE bid price is base on number of expiring COE. PAP doesn't control price. Its a supply demand thing

Not true lta indirectly control supply by limiting the number of Coe in each bidding

insider news, coe will never drop to 20-30k range. The most is 50k+ as per status quo unless of coz if a reset comes, then it will be a different story.

Looks like the demand is very strong.
we have to be prepared to pay that premium if we want to drive a car.

The next quota announcement is end October. We just have to live with this high premium for now.

Higher mortal system good move to keep off more new buyers off the roads...if not every cheap Charlie will be on the roads?
