The government has stated already they want to force people to take public transport liao. They tried all means to reduce the numbers of cars.

Wait for LTA to announce more quota.
It's all in the pipeline. Sure drop.
imagine 1500 coe for every category.

Sure drop!

That's the normal quota, these few years is abnormal because of the gov did not do a good job of maintaining the car population on the roads then punish the people by cutting the quota drastically to get the numbers in line, a typical case of sleeping on the job.

price should drop by abit too.

Reason: if buyer cannot afford 60k coe. They will not buy. So I believe the drop will be another 3 to 5k.

55k coe is coming!

Bidding start today. With LTA confirm news of more COE from August till October. Let's see what is the effects.

Yeah, COE should drop below 60k, but not by much. Maybe $57-$58k

I visited a 2nd hand car dealer recently. He mentioned that 2nd hand car prices are holding up despite the drop in COE prices because of the 50% downpayment for car loans. This will benefit people who can afford to buy brand new cars.

If that's the case. Good to renew COE for 10years old car.
