agents can bid in bulk n they r bidding basing on booked deals by willing cash-rich buyers.

my estimation would be at least Q2 2015.
but it's such a good revenue booster i doubt they would drop it anytime soon

COE will be hard to get lower. The reason is that the buds are put in by the sellers not the buyers. These car sellers don't really make that much commission just from selling car alone. Normally it is the loan from banks that gives these sellers large commission. So it is in their interest for COE to go high hence a bigger loan. Bigger loans mean bigger commission. Maybe LTA should put something in place to stop this.
I could be wrong about this practice but I think it is still in place

Not possible to fall to low levels because car growth nowadays is only 0.5% but working population has about doubled since 10 years ago.

I think the price is more or less similar to the last few bids. I am more interested in the news in late October on what is the quota for November to January.
