cold boot no video signal

what do u guys think?

cold boot no video signal, cant even see bios screen

sure got power, hdd spinning, bluray drive can eject, but not sure it is booting windows or not

but switch on and off few times (PC), can get video signal, then boot as usual

disconnect and reconnect every card and cable before liao, virus scan liao


what could be failing ?

psu?

gt 630? *onboard also same problem

ram ? * but no blue screen when using computer

Typical. I sometimes happen to me too. Nothing to be afraid of.

TS, list down the full spec of your rig including monitor.

asrock h77 pro4/mvp (latest bios)
i5 3470
gt 630
seasonic silent 500w
16gb ram on windows 7 64bit (all updated)
AOC I2757FH (by hdmi)
m4 128gb ssd - OS
SanDisk Extreme SSD 480 GB
WD Black 4TB

basically I isolated some stuff liao


sound system that is unrelated :p

actually all working fine before, is not a new system, mix and match at most 2 years for some part

Remove your gt630 and connect to onboard GPU.

work for 2 days... then onboard gpu also have same problem, same remedy method

also no blue screen, when using computer

uhmm

monitor should be ok, cause I connect to bluray player too, so I switch signal, immediately work
