Hi guys, am planning to get myself a new bottle of cologne but couldn't decide between guilty by Gucci for men or red polo by Ralph Lauren.
Anyone using either of them? Or ladies who have males around you using them, care to give some review on them?
Have had sensitive nose so I stopped using cologne for quite sometime. :s13:

Or anyone here have better recommendations for cologne? Prefer something mild and the long lasting. Heard polo red's longevity quite bad..

Thanks in advance!

When would you be using the fragrance?
For work, dates or are you looking for an all-rounder fragrance that is versatile for every occasion?

Personally I feel that Gucci Guilty smells sweet and kind of a seductive scent, which may be more suitable for dates or as a casual going-out scent. Personally I prefer Gucci Pour Homme II, you can give it a try. It's lighter, more airy and more aromatic.

I have never worn Polo Red but according to reviews (like you said) it seems to suffer from poor sillage and longevity. Personally I prefer Polo Blue more, and it suits Singapore's climate better as well. It's an aquatic summer scent that smells rather refreshing and fresh.

Versatile scents wise - you can give the following few a whiff:

Giorgio Armani - Acqua de Gio (Probably the most popular fragrance around, and for a good reason. It smells fresh, refreshing, clean, extremely suitable for Singapore's climate. A wonderful crowd-pleaser for both men and women.)

Chanel - Bleu de Chanel (A hit with the ladies. Smells aquatic and fresh. To me, it smells a little sweet yet really masculine at the same time.)

Versace - Versace Pour Homme (Citrusy, refreshing. Its airy, aromatic and is very pleasant. A hit with the ladies as well. This fresh scent works wonderful in Singapore's climate too.)

Singapore's climate isn't really the best environment for fragrances to last, especially the aquatic and citrusy ones. The best you can do is carry travel atomizers (portable sprayer bottles) and refresh yourself every few hours.
