Commando Pay Is How Much?

anybody know how much commando get paid throughout the 2 years NS? tks. i tio VA for hendon camp.

not too sure now how much exactly but the breakdown of the pay should still be the same...

rank pay + combat allowance + risk bonus (not too sure about this one, heard ppl say only) = your pay

rank pay is based on ur rank. ord-ed before saf decided to revise nsf rank pay so don't know.
combat allowance = $100
risk bonus = heard is $200

i guess commando bmt pay is exactly same as everybody else. what about after that? is it still like $700 10 years ago, or is it about $900-$1k now?

OA is some sort of online computer system that saf clerical personnel used for their work


Commando does get $300 for their vocation allowance

But when u are in bmt (regardless which camp), u would only get urfor service pay (the $450)

When u pop from bmt and move on to ur actual vocation training, you will only recieve the combat allowance of $100 on top of ur service pay

It is only after u get ur red beret then you will unlock all ur entitled pay (service+combat+risk+whatever ur skill badge (if any) you have)

But one thing, saf do give backpay, provided u sucessfully get into the vocation u are training for in the end

bmt -> $450
just post bmt -> $450 + $100 combat allowance = $550 <- (i guess all other combat units also same at this stage?)
red beret stage -> $900-$1k (according to fireworks79) <- about 9 months from enter army to get red beret rit? this $900-$1k is include all the combat+risk+etc already?

so this $300 vocational allowance is like locked and not given to you. on the day u become red beret, they 1 lump sum give you all the locked pay?

is not lock....u can only get tat ONLY if u sucessfully pass out as a cdo
cos they r ppl out of cos during trg....
in other word
in bmt..u get recuit pay
pop liao..u can pte pay
undergo vocational trg..u get lcp/cpl or sct/oct{sgt /officer} pay(depend when they happy to promote u
pop as a cdo...u get full cdo pay
how much ....i not sure...cos they keep increasing the allowances

ard there la....
bmt is 3mth liao..
den the cdo phase is abt 6mths...but i not sure,they got cut short the trg anot(cos NS is only 2yr)
den even u pop as a cdo,u still got to go for 2-3cos of other vocational (such as medic,signal course)
last time,we got 2.5yr ,so after u pop as a cdo,u still got abt 1yr to serve
a cdo usually spend half of his ns life undergoing courses.....

n ya...cdo oficer must go ocs..but a cdo sgt dun need go sispec....
cdo camp will provide their own sgt trg for them

POP as CDO and not their BMT. if not wrong by the time or before tt already cpl.
