I'm a year 2 HNitec student, and I will be entering poly next year.
What is the success rate of entering CDO if I told them that I am not interested ?
Am I able to defer NS to pursue my studies in poly if I'm selected to be CDO ?

I don't believe the success rate is a publicly available information. So anybody here who claims to know is most likely giving you hearsay information.

Being selected to be CDO is independent of whether you can defer to pursue further studies in poly.

just apply to defer loh.. whether u are selected for CDO or not got no influence to ur deferment

but if u managed to defer after getting selected for CDO, the next time round it's not a definite you get into CDO

If I were selected and I deferred, would I still need to go for VA again before I enlist?

If you get selected after attending the VA but then defer, the next time round, you MAY or MAY NOT get selected for another VA.

If I didn't get called for another VA, does it mean that I'm not in CDO ? Or I will just enlist in CDO?

i know quite a few ppl said not interested but ended up inside
