Main use of the rig is having multiple VMs, running some simulations:
AMD ryzen 1700, intending to oc to close to 4ghz, reusing AIO cooler
32GB G.Skill Trident Z 3200 MHz CL16 F4-3200C16D-32GTZA
Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 or Asrock x370 gaming K4
Not into multi GPU so first choice gigabyte should be a no brainer, but the Asrock provides more usb ports, a second m.2 pcie gen 2 x2 (10Gb/s), perhaps better caps and looks better IMO.
I am intending to have 2 SSDs, one small and fast and the other larger and slower. One may be 256gb 960 evo m.2, and if I go for the asrock mobo will get a 850 evo 1tb M.2, else the same model with normal sata interface will do. Any other recommendations for a cheaper one with similar speeds?
