Comment on Toshiba hdd

It seems Toshiba hdd for PC are rather lousy based on what was posted here.
Is this brand of hdd we should avoid across the whole range of 2.5" & 3.5".

i am considering buying it for use but so far all posted are negative comments

I see quite a fair bit of negative comments on all 3 main hard drive makers to be honest. I personally boycott Seagate. If that is the case, then can't buy any drive like that. I think its a matter of luck sometimes.

All brands are similar of quality as far as hdd technology is concerned. . They have their own number of bad comments as well . Drives have a lifespan and cannot be expect last forever.

yeah. lifespan of less than a yr.

so far my ranking of HDD.

1) Seagate
2) HGST
3) Samsung
4) WD
5) Toshiba.
