Seems like you have done your homework :)

Can go ahead with this build if you ask me. The only question I have is what are you doing for CPU cooling? Going to make use of the stock heatsink and fan?

Actually the stock heatsink and fan is not bad so I would just use that for now. When ur using the system take note of the temperature of the CPU and if u feel it’s running too hot at that point look to get a cooler.

Ryzen runs hot. An investment in a Noctua Cooler goes a long way for peace of mind and silence.

Also, Noctua have 6 years warranty, and frequently update their mounting brackets on older cooler design so that you could retrofit them on your cooler, if you want to reuse it in your next system. Their fan also rated to >150,000 MTTF (mean time to failure; ~17 years if run 24/7).

Lastly, the weight is light, and thus does not stress motherboard. Also it is designed to fit most motherboard that stay clear of the "keep out zone"; this ensure it doesn't obstruct RAM slots, hence maximize future compatibility.

No point getting a gen4 nvme, use that difference in cost for the 2060 super instead. You'll see more performance gain.

Any better recommendations for substitute MB & PSU? MSI X570 Tomahawk is damn hard to get now and not sure got cheaper alternatives for PSU too:) haha

Sorry for digressing, but just curious why didn't you choose to get from Stores in SLS for your parts instead of getting them off amazon? (understand that now most of the stores are closed due to the pandemic)

As I am also looking to build my first RIG and would like to gather more recommendations around

I think some parts amazon is cheaper, also like u said, sls is closed. Haha

Yeah man it is tough getting parts at the moment, helping a friend to build a pc similar to yours too. Good news! After this Friday we can head to Sim Lim again to shop. Hopefully they will be open on Saturday onwards

With RTX2060, maybe you can divert some resources for a better monitor. At least 27"? For Dell, try to aim for their U series.
