Comments on New Rig Required

Hi Everyone,

I'm gonna replace my almost 5 year old rig soon. I've come up with a list of parts to buy as I'm gonna completely overhaul my rig. Any comments/advice on my list?

Some notes:

1. 
   Will use back my HDD (2x WD 1 TB Blue which I bought just a few months ago)

•

  Will Use back my LCD (1080p), KB, Mouse, Speakers

ssd samsung evo lazada 139 (before 15% off master card monday promo) local EA warranty too.

tradepac u can save it. either no stock or pricelist price is for full system or they try their abu neh neh stunt.

go pc theme instead of tradepac

PSU can down size. Go for Superflower Leadex Silver.

buy online for ssd & gpu. buy motherboard and processor from pc theme. Power supply and casing up to u. if you drive buy case from store if not buy online and they send to you.

Unless you need store to fix your desktop, most of the item can buy online is cheaper if you add in the discount, read the forum for detail, except for motherboard and processor

I just took a quick look at lazada and thier 850 Evo is at 139!! But cannot use mastercard promo liao. Its lowest price item

How is Superflower as a brand tho? Never heard of them before. Then again, The last I overhauled my rig was almost half a decade ago. haha

I'm looking at PC Theme's Price list now and I can't find their Skylake Section.

Do you really need a FULL tower?

I was asking myself that too! But My GFX Consideration is a pretty big GFX and I do want maximum airflow, Watching a few vids of the enthoo pro gave me a few ideas for additional fans in the case to improve airflow.

So Size of GFX and Airflow were the things I considered for case. Enthoo pro seems to be able meet all these requirements.

Case that have good air flow front in, rear and top out is ok.


As for power supply, for me, i go with any silver or gold rating with min 5 warranty that service center that is close to me.

I don't like tradepac. their price list quote me different when i at their shop. need to get full system for discount, my friend go ask the same thing get different pricing and cheaper, they just don't like my face. So now i only go online or let PC theme earn my $$.

Oooo. What are your thoughts on Fractal's R5 though? That was actually my consideration between that and Enthoo Pro.

Wah that means...118 only?! But between pro and evo. Which you recommend?

Wah lau..my list got alot of tradepac sia. I guess its time to look at price list again. But PC theme latest price list no Skylake Mobo and chips. Tried calling them also line busy.

Sigh. I got my current system's Mobo and Chip from them 4 years ago and remembered them not being like that. Sigh. Always a catch to things.

Cheap cooler get cm 212 evo. More expensive cooler get corsair h100i or noctua nhd 15
