the PRCs working in Japan are even discriminatory towards people of their own race....there's a clear distinction on the way they speak to the local Japanese and Chinese tourist regardless whther u r mainland Chinese or Singaporean Chinese

Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but Nakano don't seem to have a lot of nendroids compared to Akihabara..... unless you are looking for really old figurines.
You might not wanna drag your father to Akihabara coz he'll be bored to tears if he is not into anime related stuff. And tiring for especially older folks ,to climb up n down stairs if you don't want to wait for the tiny lifts.

If you determined to do this, definitely visit multiple Mandarakes.

The Mandarakes cater to the region's tastes, so visual kei probably is in Shibuya maybe.

Nakano is the easiest to start with as there's 3 CD shops under one building

A single branch will not have all you want but chances are it is in another branch

Btw, I managed to obtain 10 albums of my favourite artistes (stuff that I can't even find online) for like $60 only, coz some albums are really so old they are sold for 100 yen...

Also when in 2nd hand shops, if there's a tray that is selling stuff for 100 yen, that means those are likely spoilt and condemned

(But of course la, don't do it if your parents will be bored off haha)
