hey guys, just wondering if can provide me with some insights.

Went home last night and start using my com and after a few mins comp suddenly shutdown and restart. and this happened a few times until cant even boot to windows (cant enter safe mode). and there is a red light on at the DRAM area. Was thinking if i should clear CMOS?

Comp auto shutdown & restart could be a lot of reasons. Try re-seating your rams, changing a cmos battery, removing your heatsink fan, clean it and reapply thermal paste. If these don't work, it could be a bad mobo, hdd, psu etc.

Else bring it to gs (Nigel) to get it diagnosed.

Usual problems:
Might be temperature
Might be ram
Might be PSU

If you okay with computer stuff
First you open casing see got any blown caps or not
If no blown caps check the ram using software
If ram no problem get a program which can log the temperature maybe overheating

Kindly explain in full details or else we will not be able to narrow down to a few causes. You can also go down sls #02-32 and find nigel under pc care solutions

Since your profile is not updated, you should list all parts here. Else bros here will give wild guess comments.

New doesn't mean it will work well. Doesnt burn doesnt mean it will run well.

Try get another psu if you can, try it out and test.

Or else, go sls #02-32 find nigel. He checks for you at a cost of naming your own price. (He's anything.)

1) psu

2) cpu slot got something blocking the cpu from current flow.

3) ram not aligned properly

4) mobo shorted.

5) all at once.
