Comp cannot detect graphic card

Hi guys,

My computer cannot detect my graphic card. I can still use my comp as usual but when I try to play my games such as fallout 4, the game cannot detect my graphic card and it wont run.

I do not know what is going on. Please give me your advice!

Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LX
Graphic Card: Asus gtx 960 Strix OC 2gb
Power: 620W
Processor: i5 (i cant rmb the exact model)

reinstall gpu drivers. reseat the gpu. use another pci e lane. try another gpu. ensure gpu power cables are plug in. some examples.

Crazy, can't detect GPU and can still use! Likely your monitor cable is connected to IGP instead of GTX960.

Please follow the steps below:

1. Check monitor cable, whether you plug it into your Asus gpu or Motherboard.
2. Go to Device Manager, check your Hardware / Graphic Card.
3. Update Nvidia driver.
4. Bios setting - External GPU as primary instead of Integrated.
5. take out your GPU and make sure you put it under PCIE 3.0 slot
