Comp hang after Raid 0

Recently i bought 2 wd blue for raid 0, after doing that it seems like sometimes my comp would hang or slow down the performance.

whats wrong with it ?

Now still running RAID 0 on mechanical HDD? One single SSD will be faster than even raptor raid 0.

yes, my os is installed in ssd, so therefore i raid 0 my new hdd. does the problem lies in that?

Tink u cant run raid mode in diff disk setup
huh? never heard such things.


anyway TS, dont know what is your computer spec.
but basic trouble shooting are:
1. make sure you installed latest raid driver whether its Intel RST or AMD
2. have you tried to replace cables? as raid normally more sensitive than single disk.

I am using,

Intel 2500 with asus p8h67
GPU: MSI 6950
SSD: OCZ Vertex 2 80gb
HDD: 1tb samsung and 2x1tb wdblue

what do you mean by replacing the cables? I have bought sata cables since my motherboard box do not have extra, i have a cable that is bend from the sata port to my hdd

nope. i just follow the steps to make the raid mode since my bios have the raid mode setup

installed the Intel RST software? with that you can check if something is happening with ur 2 raid hdd
