Thanks for finding out. Looks like a quick plan to atttact the prepaid users and also to fence off TPG, Zero1

M1 CSO say payment should be up soon, when M1 Maxx app is launched on Aug 9 (tentatively).

Will be on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Thought I saw on M1's T&Cs mentioning about GIRO and Credit Card payment.

Edit: wonder if they charge for SIM-Card.....

GIRO-IBG and GIRO-CC should be for non-Maxx plans.

Maxx seems to managed by Prepaid team instead.

SIM Card charge is $0, but first month must get the Maxx Add-on (i.e. $12 now). Cannot choose other add-ons.

I wonder if they have esim...
Maxx plan don't have eSIM, just like normal plans with 5Go Plus VAS add-on.

Extra note: Current implementations of 5G SIM seems to be incompatible with M1 eSIM. All M1 eSIM users that wants to subscribe to 5Go Plus VAS will need to convert back to Physical SIM.
Might change in the future, but let's see.

M1's coverage sucks, even with 5G i don't think it will be game changer for them
Not everyone finds M1's network terrible, but I get why you say that.

For M1 Maxx wonder if the add on is compulsory? Can it just be a $0 plan for 200MB for my old folks who just need to receive sms otp.
