Can I get now and do a number port over next month from previous telco when contract end.

I tried with MyRepublic before and can be done. But just check again with the telco you want.

Another question to perhaps check with M1. Can those on $25/mth sim only plan switch to $15/mth sim only 12mths plan?

I think a number of people will be glad to know and switch if it's good deal

Wow, M1 fight back, but 12months contract with inconsistent reception

Yes their inconsistent reception is the orange carrot that will never draw me back... OMG... In my area I suffered until I couldn't stand it and broke contract... Was charged 50 bucks, but it was worth it 😄😆

M1 Sitex promo on SIM Only plan
$15/mth, 30GB data, 1k sms, 1k mins, free unlimited spotify.

12mths contract.
Free 6mths caller ID and 6mths weekend data when you port in.

Can prices go any lower? Hope so

IF m1 gives free call Id and weekend data free for 12 mth, i would take it without a 2nd thought.

If you don't mind paying for that one month's bill you can for GIGA.

Can I sign up for a giga line today and port-in after that?
Of course you can! Simply go to your giga app, click on Menu > Port-in to giga. Complete the post port-in process and you're good to go! Once port-in is approved, your existing giga number will be automatically replaced with the number you have ported in.

To port-in/transfer your existing number, ensure
- It is not on any contract which will incur early termination charges with your current telco
- It is an active postpaid number (prepaid numbers are not supported)
- It is registered to your name with the same ID number you're registering with giga
- It is not with TPG (TPG does not support porting)

Or you can do like what others mention. keep delaying your delivery till the day where your contract expire then can save that 1 month of bill.

Anyone know if Giga supports receiving of SMS when overseas without having to subscribe to roaming? This is important as I need to receive OTP when overseas.

Can I make and receive calls and SMSes when I'm roaming overseas?
We do not offer roaming calls (both incoming and outgoing) and sending of outgoing SMSes when you're overseas. Good News! You'll be able to receive incoming SMS for free not just in our 48 supported roaming destinations, but in more than 230 destinations!

Not all telcos allowed that. So far I think only circles life and myrepublic allowed that.
