Does compatible laptop battery work the same as original?
I mean as in the laptop recognize the compatible, show the
battery level, showing the battery is charging?
I just bought a compatible battery for my Acer laptop and
it can boot the laptop but show as 'Unknown remaining' at
windows task bar.
Plug in adapter and it show "Plug in but not charging'.
The compatible battery not compatible at all or faulty?
Any advise? Thanks.

There are pins on the original battery that is used by the laptop to measure current and voltage by the motherboard.

Compatible may have dummy pins that do not allow this function. So, the laptop cannot provide that function with a compatible batt.

Is it suppose the the way to be for compatible?
The compatible batt also don't seem to be charging on the laptop too..
