completely erase a HDD PLS HELP!!

hi guys, i just brought a ssd for my lappy and installed windows there and now i want to delete everything from my hdd (incuding windows that is installed in the HDD) will formating the drive delete everything (including windows and hidden partition) so im able to get a brand new drive with the maximum storage. thanks!!

just right click My Computer, click on Manage, click on Disk Management, delete all partitions in the correct drive...
