Hi all, I'm asking on the behalf of my friend who's computer just died on him yesterday. His motherboard is barely 1 year & power supply is barely 2 year

Recently last year only just change mobo then gpu died few months later.

The problems are as follow
1. System still running
2. Monitor no response, black screen
3. Mouse and keyboard not working. no LED or anything.

What are the possible problem? Btw his computer always uplorry every year for dk what reason. Every year RAM, Motherboard, PSU, SDD, GPU either one of it died.

Like idk, this year fix liao. next year will come out another issues for no reason. his spending on change parts i think cost more then what he has originally purchased.

What PSU did he buy? Who assembled his system? This sounds like PSU or MB dead.

Specs? The only way to isolate the issue is to swap parts. You can bring to SLS to troubleshoot if you don't have

Take out the processor, clean away excess thermal paste(including those stick onto the socket too). Put abit thermal paste n try turn on again.

This is why I never liked to upgrade PC because 1 bad part can always cause issues with other parts.

This one look like the PC cannot POST.

Looks like there's debug LEDs on the board. Couldn't really tell which components was indicating a problem since video quality not the best. Could you ask your friend to check what the debug led says or send a clear and still picture of the leds? It's located above the main 24 pin atx cable.

Either Motherboard or PSU issues.

GPU rarely dies so it must be the motherboard or PSU that cause it to die.

If PSU is those cheap kind, i will point the fault to it right away.

Either your friend is really suay or he has an electrical problem. Not likely for components to die so frequently even if he use cheap parts.
