computer can boot, but no display

Hi all
my PC was working fine, switched off for dinner.
when I came back and turned on, PC can boot up and even has windows 7 start up tune but it has no display on my monitor.
anyone can help? thanks!

Your display is dell? CHeck whether you selected the correct display option for the monitor?

your graphics card spoil. try connecting directly from motherboard vga to monitor
