Computer crash while gaming (With white static screen)

Hey there,

Recently while playing OverWatch, my computer will crash to a static white screen with the hanged buzzing sound forcing me to hard reboot.

Any idea what's probably causing it?

I tried playing World of Warcraft, it doesnt crashed at all. So I'm not sure whether is it the graphic card problem or what. Since OverWatch is known to run hotter than most games.

And another thing, my battlenet app will randomly crash by itself these days, even though I'm not really on it, just randomly browsing online or watching videos, the screen will flicker for a moment, and the battlenet app will crash.

Using R9 280x.

Everytime was working fine until like 2 months back or so.

Well if this is so can u try normal usage without GPU and use onboard GPU to test and see?

Well from what I see might be your GPU or PSU is failing.

Orrrr your battlenet client or overwatch is corrupted.

Try reinstall both your battlenet client and overwatch and try again.
Or trying other GPU intensive games and see if it gives the same issue. Alternatively try running benchmark for 2 to 3 hrs and see if the white screen and crashing replicates.
