Check the heatsink cooler fan is it working. Next dismount the CPU cooler. Clean off the dried thermal compound. Reapply it. Mount back heatsink cooler.

Most probably if you do not have any thermal compound you will need to purchase it at SLS.

Heatsink fans are working.

I've just cleaned them.

I applied thermal compound just 3 days ago. Will re-apply again. Honestly this CPU gave me overheating errors since the very first day. Should have changed it 4 years ago.

Lol. But I mean even with HSF cooler, 100C is very damn high. That means the CPU is a problematic one that may reach 150C-200C if there is not HSF?!

I've just (re)vacuumed the inside of my PC, wiped dust off, made sure all fans working, clean my heat sink, re-apply thermal paste etc.

On my PC, and BIOS showed 72 deg C instantly.

Any suggestions on additional steps to take? Since I am now sure its a faulty graphics card, and my CPU is overheating.

On my PC, and BIOS showed 72 deg C instantly.

Any suggestions on additional steps to take? Since I am now sure its a faulty graphics card, and my CPU is overheating.

I am not sure if the mobo could be the one overheating the CPU?

The CPU is nuts.

As I said, since day 1 it gave CPU over temperature error at start-up.

It was my foolishness and laziness not to have sent it back to Fuwell.

Hey, than you can get a new processor. You wouldn't have to reinstall windows like this and don't have to change system.

My monitor, keyboard, and mouse are working fine. What I really need is a pre-built CPU (I don't intend to build my own CPU).

I think Dell got offer on CPU only, but not really sure.

Did u take the CPU out of its socket, blow it and put it back?
Try to update ur bios, do check that ur HSF fan is fully secured by its 4 sides.
