I just made a new com two weeks ago, however it always have random freezing problem. I try to keep all the firmwares and drivers up to date. However i read online that if the firmware of the ssd is not up to date, it is likely to find problems.

I am unable to find a firmware update of my ssd, can anyone help me with it?

This is my SSD Crucial M500 120GB 2.5-inch Internal SSD SATA3

Or maybe other things has been the cause of my computer's freeze up.

Thanks!!

Hmm okay i dun know how to help you but normally not all latest firmware are the best.

For example recently a lot of problem with the latest driver for Nvidia Graphic Card.

Next if you have established and certain that all the "latest" Firmware are known to be stable.

Then you would look into the hardware problem. Or also known as manufacturer defect, happen seldom, or not so seldom as build quality has gone downhill to reduce cost over the years.

To determine hardware fault, best to take down to the place of assembly to let them check which part had gone bad and take them for repair/exchange.

If you want to do it yourself then i suppose you need test each individual part of your computer in a known "working" rig. That's why it is better to take it down to the expert for them to check.

For me i have 3 rig at home, mine / dad's / mom's so easier for me to test actually as all of them is using the same "type" of motherboard.
