Computer overusage.

My computer is usage is always at 100%. Even at idle. How do i solve this? I have 2 gb of ram. Is this the reason why i always lag spike in games?

There are several reasons why it has 100% usage. Partly the HDD is so slow that it keeps on reading and the CPU is just working.

Another possible reason is you turn off during an update process halfway. Causing it to corrupt in HDD. That was the most f up par I ever get due o my house power trip during the updating process before it shutdown. But this isn't so bad if you can restore the comp to its restore point.

Another reason could be the HDD is failing.

What processes are using up the cpu when you look at the task manager?
