Computer Restarts Without Notice

Hi guys,
my computer recently has been restarting without any notice and does not give any error message (no bsod). I did clean the inside of my computer recently to get rid of the dust trapped before the problem started to occur.

this happens when i am gaming (GTA5/Overwatch/Dota) a lot of the times.

I have used hardware monitor to check to see if its overheating and I doubt so, my cpu running at 40+ degrees, my gpu (gtx950), runs at 60-75 degrees depending on game.

I don't think these are numbers above their normal operating temperature but either way i've used msi afterburner to increase fan speed at lower temperatures to keep it under 70 degrees to see if the problem is overheating.

anyone here got any advice on how to resolve the problem? could it be my psu spoiling or not feeding enough power? (superflower leadex silver 80, but its less than a year old) Or something went wrong when i cleaned the system (use damp cloth to wipe the dust off system fan and washed the filters in my case.

if its any extra help, I just had a series of 3 restarts in a row (playing dota game, restarted and instantly went to reconnect and restarted in less than 30s again) without letting the computer rest or anything

then upgrade graphics driver?

My computer also same as yours, but mine will BSOD then auto restart. But not everytime, once in a while.

maybe u can list down your computer parts?
might other parts is failing as well.

next maybe u can removing your gpu and use onboard gpu to play dota to see if it will restart. you can check your event logs to look for any errors.

Run stress test. If it restarts good. bring down for rma if still have warranty. otherwise stop wasting time on dota

My computer also same as yours, but mine will BSOD then auto restart. But not everytime, once in a while.

I experience this sometimes as well. First boot then after windows 10 splash screen go into BSOD, auto restart then works by itself. No idea why..

can try to disable "fast startup" in windows 10....

will stress test gpu next. ran memtest without problems. If eliminate the ram and gpu how to test psu? i dont have another system to try. event logs show nothing specific just that it didnt shut down properly.

Go to bios, check voltages on +12v rail. can also check +5v and +3.3v to make sure voltages are normal.

Alternatively, can download hwinfo and check. Seem like PSU problem. I had the same problem some time back. You can see it here

Just ran gpu stress tests.
furmark:
1st run : lasted 10+ minutes, max temps of 77 only
2nd run (immediately after the restart) :5-10s into the stress test restarted
3rd run (after a break) : 10+ minutes, max temps 76/77 only

Valley
1st run: didnt complete first benchmark max temp 77
2nd run: after first benchmark (190s, 76c), ran second benchmark, lasted 30s, 76c
3rd run: successful first benchmark (190s, 76c), 2nd benchmark lasted till 100s, 76c

does this point to my gpu to be the problem? could it still be my psu? I have a screenshot of the hwmonitor stats of voltages/power etc right before it restarts. would that be helpful in diagnosing the source?

maybe u can take a PIC of your power voltage from your BIOS?

Vcore +0.972
12v +12.196
5v +5.040
3.3v +3.296

Are these ok? or should i run another stress test. Would the ss of the HWM voltages just before the shutdown be more informative?
