Computer turns on and off repeatedly

Hi everyone,

My computer has been shutting on and off repeatedly. When I am using the computer it would suddenly shut down and then boot up again. Before it loads windows, it would shut down again.

I doubt this is due to the battery in the motherboard as I have just replaced it.

May I know how to resolve this? Has this got anything to do with me updating Avast Antivirus? I didn't have this issue until I updated it.

Yes Avast seemed to be the problem. Uninstalled it and reinstalled. No further issues. Thanks.
