Computer upgrades for playing VR games

Hi all,

Looking to play VR games, but I know that my current pc specs can't support.
Hope to have some suggestions on what specific parts to upgrade in order to play VR game smoothly, or do I need to do a total overhaul.

CPU: i5-4670K with Coolermaster Seidon 240m
Mobo: Asus Z87-PRO
Graphics: Asus GTX 770-DC2OC-2GD5
RAM: 2 x G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1600 CL9 4GB
PSU: FSP HYDRO G 650W

But see your budget lar ts. Gpu upgrade to 1070 and above is VR ready

just saw the price diff between 1080 ti, 1080, and 1070.
quite huge difference
probably go with 1080.

Btw just a tip for u. I can look for which VR system u going to buy and check their specifications (mostly are about the same configuration. But they should be tell u which upgraded u required for running a VR.)
