To all members, I need some help. Firstly, my home has Mio TV with Fibre. I just bought Apple TV and got Strong VPN and also Netflix.*

I just bought a TP-Link WR1043ND. Wants to do wireless bridge to my existing Singtel MIO Router and get Netflix on ATV to work.

Can anyone help me with the process?

Greatly appreciated.

The TP router must be a 2nd network, separate from Singtel router i believe. not sure it can be done. Why not do the easy way and just use TP router? Configure the router and your ATV will work using that network.

I don't think the TP-Link router will work with StrongVPN out of the box, you probably need to flash the firmware to support VPN connection. Note: if you are not familiar with the process, I wouldn't recommend attempting as it may brick your router.

I see that the folks at DD-WRT have went ahead to create a custom firmware for the model of router u have.

If you are just going to use your apple tv, I would just stick with a DNS service like UnoTelly which are easier to setup and won't mess around much. In fact, my UnoTelly DNS service works on the mac too, i just tried accessing netflix not too long ago.
