Just need some tips and advice, hired a confinement nanny from friend's recommendation and there were some red flags prior to her coming to Singapore (she's from Malaysia. So we told her our son edd and nearing the edd she asked us again if it's ok for her to extend her current work with a confinement centre,we told her that as this is our first born we do not know when exactly our son will be out . She mentioned she needed time to come to Singapore and needs 2 days of rest prior to come to Singapore. So fast forward to present day ,she's been with us for a week and we did asked her about the ingredients needed for the whole confinement however she didn't have a list so I'm often been tasked to buy all the items despite not knowing exactly what to get, meat/vegetable. And while she does take a good job of our son thus far but we feel she's not very open to teaching us the robes of taking carry of a baby which we hired her for. She mentioned she will usually teach during the last 2 weeks of confinement and also mentioned it is better for us not to do alot of things(changing diapers) with the baby as baby is still fragile. There's also a day when my wife requested to room in with baby during afternoon however she asked for my wife to focus on recovery. My wife have a natural delivery btw. Am I overthinking?
