Hi I am enlisting on the 5th of Feb Thursday. Curious to know when my first bookout will be. Some of my friends are saying that first week is considered week zero while others are saying that confinement will only be till the following week Friday on the 13th. Please help me address this issue. Thanks! Much appreciated

Usually it is count 2 weekends, the 3rd you will be out. so the first weekend after you enlist is 1, the 2nd weekend after you enlist is 2, and the 3rd weekend after you enlist you will book out.

people Enlisting this week, your first bookout is likely to be on 20/2. but since that is on CNY, so likely by eve of cny you all should be out

I dunno abt SCDF, but if they same format as SAF, how is it the following week after you enlist?

so if that's the case will be the first weekend 2 weeks later.

Just go in and experience
U never know if u'll get extra duty or confinement

The week u enter tekong for enlistment is week zero.

Means if u enlist on mon, that mon to sun is week 0,
Next week is week 1.
Following week is week 2, and u book out that weekend.
However if any public holiday falls in between, u get to book out n in.

If u enlist on tues, ur week zero starts from tues to sun
If u enlist on wed, ur week zero starts from wed to sun
If u enlist on thurs, ur week zero....u get the idea
