does 2 LK (7 + 7 days) within a work year, count as 1 HK?

Does ORNS year start from the year the person ORD (or the year after the person ORD), or from the year the person is posted to his ICT unit?

Understand that Mindef work year is 31 March.

If I turn 40 years old on 1 June, is it possible to squeeze in 1 ICT between 1 April and 1 June to clock?

On the last day of the ICT, we had a MR parade for those that already done 7HK and 10 ORNS, they give us the National Service Medal and the watch, but not the MR cert, so I not sure if this is consider as the "official MR notice".
They say the the MR cert will be mail to us after 01 Apr when we officially MR, so let's see if they will mail it to us for the next few weeks.
Now I login to NS portal, the Emart portion say access denied as you are currently inactive, but I'm still able to book IPPT, so not sure what this means...

Thats strange. I received my MR cert together with the medal and watch. Maybe different unit different procedure.

But yes, I think as long as you cannot book IPPT and no more access to Emart credits, you are safe (confirmed MR)

Hi senpais, anyone knows if NS award milestone is a good gauge of when I will MR? Got the second milestone after my 2nd HK ICT, which means I have completed 5 ORNS years (IPPT only FYI). I should MR after 5 additional HK?

I received my 2nd milestone after completing 3LK and 1HK.
My ICT started the following year after my ORD, continous without any interruption except for COVID era.
Had several mob manning standbys, 1 briefing, 1 activation, and I was active with IPT/NS FIT during my reservist years.
