A bit of an overgeneralisation. Haven't had issues with it. And I do occasionally check my SimplyGo app.

So far never happen to me as long as I see TAP and see LCD screen capture the scan when alighting bus.
That's experience I had after using it for 2 years. MRT scanners are good but not those on feeder buses.

I've also been using it since it was out, even with the hassle of using it on an iPhone previously, and I've not had that kind of problems.

Holding it the right distance away rather than direct contact also helps. And for Android phones, setting your NFC settings properly matters. Didn't have issues with previous Samsung phones, nor now a Pixel. Admittedly, it scanned quicker on Samsung before, but it's not really a deal breaker now.

I've had some hit and miss on my Mi Mix 2 but haven't encountered any missing exits since I went back to my iPhone 7+. Admitedly the scanning is a wee bit slower on my iPhone 7+ as comapred to the Mi Mix 2, but so far I haven't missed any exits in months.

I need some help here on my Xiaomi 9t pro which was working fine with Google pay all along on bus/mrt by just waking up the phone without unlock.
I didn't know what setting I changed suddenly, I always need to unlock the phone in order for it to work. Any advise wld be greatly appreciated.
