What is your purpose of taking up a bank loan?

If you have no need of taking up one, then why take it? You have to repay the loan plus interest.

You DO NOT borrow money for NON-CAPITAL-GROWING purpose.
Having said that, if you borrow the loan @ 3.5% p.a. (taking processing rate or interest rate into consideration) and then invest in a bond fund which pays out 6% dividend p.a., you earn 2.5% p.a. on your total loan amount; however, this is a simplification as you will 1)bear market risk of the fund, 2)pay back some loan amount every month
